About the Role

You’ll be the financial backbone of Quidax—keeping our books clean, our systems sharp, and our strategy sound. From building a world-class finance engine to wrangling crypto accounting (yes, it’s a thing), you’ll help us scale confidently across borders.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive Financial Precision

• Deliver monthly consolidated financial reports by the 10th working day of the month—no delays, no surprises.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and update forecasts quarterly with clear variance insights.

• Maintain 100% compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements in every operating market.

Build Systems that Scale

• Review and optimize our finance stack (QuickBooks, payroll, AP/AR, crypto tracking) by Q4 2025.

• Implement at least two system/process improvements per quarter that reduce errors or manual work.

• Roll out cash flow dashboards to the leadership team—weekly, clear, and always up to date.

Keep the Engines Running

• Manage and mentor a lean finance team to deliver 100% on-time reporting and zero material misstatements.

• Ensure accurate treatment of crypto transactions in line with IFRS, GAAP, and good ol’ common sense.

• Oversee treasury, payroll, taxes, and payments—end-to-end ownership, no dropped balls.

What your day-to-day looks like

• Lead the preparation and timely delivery of consolidated financial reports.

• Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring they meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in all deliverables.

• Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax filings.

• Conduct regular reviews of financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency gains.

• Work cross-functionally with other teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

• Stay informed about the evolving landscape of cryptocurrency regulations and accounting practices, ensuring compliance at all levels.

Who We’re Looking For

• You have 8+ years of hands-on experience in financial management, ideally in fintech, crypto, or fast-growth startups.

• You have a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)—you speak fluent debits and credits.

• You have a proven track record of managing audits, financial ops, and reporting cycles with zero drama.

• You have a deep knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and how it applies to crypto assets and digital finance.

• You have a solid command of Excel, QuickBooks, and preferably tools like NetSuite, SAP, or other ERP systems.

• You have experience leading a team, mentoring future finance stars, and creating clarity from chaos.

• You are comfortable with tax, treasury, compliance, and multi-jurisdiction finance setups.

• A Crypto-native? Even better. Blockchain curious? We can work with that.

• Bonus points for building financial systems from scratch or scaling them 10x.

Reporting Line

You’ll report directly to our CFO and work closely with senior leadership to shape Quidax’s financial future. Think of yourself as the CFO’s right hand—owning day-to-day operations so they can focus on the big-picture stuff. You’ll also partner with department heads across the company to align finance strategy with business goals.
