What you will be doing

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive the growth of our crypto exchange in Africa, with a focus on Nigeria and Ghana.

  • Leveraging your network of KOLs in Nigeria and other African countries to promote our platform and enhance brand visibility.

  • Developing and managing an affiliate marketing program to drive user acquisition and engagement.

  • Identifying and securing strategic partnerships to enhance the platform's offerings and reach.

  • Conducting thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the African crypto landscape.

  • Providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support business strategy and decision-making.

  • Developing and executing comprehensive business development plans and initiatives.


What your day-to-day looks like

  • Engaging with potential business partners and influencers to explore and establish collaboration opportunities.

  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of affiliate networks, optimizing strategies to achieve business goals.

  • Communicating with partners to create mutually beneficial opportunities and initiatives.

  • Staying updated with the latest developments in the crypto market, especially within Africa.

  • Preparing and presenting reports on business development activities and progress to stakeholders.

  • Collaborating with the marketing and operations teams to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.

Job requirements

What you need to have

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in Business Development or Minimum 3 years experience in similar roles in the cryptocurrency industry, preferably with a crypto wallet or exchange.

  • In-depth understanding of the cryptocurrency market, particularly in Africa, ideally with a focus on Nigeria and Ghana.

  • Experience in managing affiliate marketing programs and driving user acquisition.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.


Nice To Haves

  • Experience with African KOLs / Communities

  • A strong network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in Nigeria and other African countries.

  • Experience in the broader fintech or blockchain industry.

  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in digital marketing and cryptocurrency.

  • Certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or similar.
